From childhood, Kishimoto was a fan of manga series. Masashi Kishimoto and His twin brother Seishi Kishimoto both have similar type of drawing. Kishimoto usually follow five step process while drawing. Concept and Rough sketch, drafting, Inking, shading and colouring.

In 2003, Kishimoto got married. They couldn't go to Honeymoon till 2015 because Of being busy. In Naruto last movie, Hinata made a Scarf for naruto. Kishimoto got that idea from how his wife made a scarf for him. They have a son.
